Piedra Negra Gran Malbec 2017

£46.50

By Francois Lurton. This wine owes its name to black soil at the foot of the Andean mountains, in contrast to the white snow on their peaks. As our vineyards are at the foot of the Andes, we are in ‘Pieda negra’.

Deep, intense ruby colour. Balsamic and floral notes. The plum aromas characteristic of ripe Malbec shine through. Powerful in the attack. The oaky notes mingle with black fruit to add huge complexity to the blend. Beautiful acidity supports the wine on the palate right through to the lingering balsamic finish.
