With 26 years’ experience in the wine trade, Tony, also known as “the Wineman”, opened up “The Wine Shop” in 2019, a small wine shop on a side street in Gibraltar. With continued success all through the retched covid period, with online tastings and deliveries, in just one year, moved the shop to the bustling Main Street. With a larger selection of international wines, glassware, chocolates and a deli counter!
My ideology is to introduce new international wines to the public, with a hands-on approach offering my expertise and experience.
The Wine Shop offers pocket friendly and high-end wines I have personally selected. “Each wine is a memory, a story, a voyage and an emotion to different people, that’s the beauty of wine”. With the addition Barrel seating just outside the shop, clients can now enjoy a glass, or a bottle of wine with a little charcuterie board or one of Tony’s Tostas
