Recanati Ancient Varieties White (Kosher)

A Fresh New Israeli Wine From Ancient Local Grapes. The Marawi is an indigenous variety that is over 2000 years old, and only now have Recanati been the first to produce a wine from this variety. I personally had the pleasure of tasting the Marawi white with a Recanati rep back in April 2019 and this 2017 vintage was nice and fresh to the style of a Viognier wine, with white stone fruit characteristics both on the nose and the palate with floral notes in the background, dry with little acidity and a nice lingering finish.
