Gran Lerma

This Gran Lerma reminds me of some of the great traditional Spanish reds that simply wowed when in glass and mouth. Perfect balance of acidity and structured tannins, Lovely warm aromas of blackberry pie, cedar wood, dark chocolate, licorice, spice and a soft hint of vanilla. In mouth it is very smooth with caressing soft tannins, full bodied with a lot of the aromatic notes coming through and lingering, teasing length. Aged for 24 months in oak barrels, and although just a 2015 it shows great ageing potential but can easily be drunk now, just let it breath for 45 minutes.
